And there goes another one.

Another Financial Advisor leaving the industry.

Month by month, I find myself mid-conversation with a financial professional, and one tells me:

"Business is going great!"

And yet, a few months later, I'm notified by LinkedIn that this same financial professional started a new job.

Now, I understand that life gets hard.

I understand that I don't know exactly what's going on in their life.

But what I can take an educated guess on is that business was NOT going "great" for them, and that's why they quit on a financial services career.

They were struggling in some sort of way and just didn't want to admit it.

So if you're a Financial Advisor who is struggling, please know that it is OKAY to admit your struggles and weaknesses.

There are a lot of people out there who can help you, but only if you open up.

I'll go first and admit that I, too, have many problems as a fellow business owner.

One recent example was knowing whether or not to do a price increase with our existing clients. It took me many hours to think about, and many conversations with those around me. But by seeking advice, I eventually found an answer.

Life is too short not to swallow your pride.
